How long does it take to process an order?

Do you ship internationally?

We currently ship within North America only, including the United States and Canada. At this time, we do not offer international shipping outside of North America.

Are your urns sealed?

All of our urns include a secure threaded lid closure system designed to safely contain cremated remains.

Note: The lid should be closed gently until snug to ensure secure closure, allowing the urn to be reopened later if additional items need to be placed inside.

How do I know which size urn I need?

Urn size depends on the amount of cremated remains and how the urn will be used.  Our What Size Urn Do I Need guide walks through size options clearly and helps you decide with confidence.

Are urns suitable for home display?

All our urns are designed for home placement and can be displayed on shelves, mantels, or memorial spaces.

Can Shine North urns be engraved?

Shine North urns are not engraved directly. The surface artwork is permanently applied to preserve the integrity of the design.

If personalization is desired, many families choose to add a small engraved plaque separately. This can be arranged locally through a funeral home or engraving service if wished.

What are cremated remains like?

Cremated remains consist of fine mineral fragments rather than ash and are handled using appropriate containers.

Can I open the urn later?

All of our urns include a secure threaded lid closure system designed to safely contain cremated remains while allowing the urn to be opened and closed again if needed.

Note: The lid should be closed gently until snug to ensure secure closure, allowing the urn to be reopened later if additional items need to be placed inside.

How are urns closed?

All our urns use a threaded lid designed to provide a secure, long-term closure. The lid should be turned gently until it is snug. Over-tightening is not recommended, as excessive force may make the lid difficult to reopen later.When closed properly, a threaded lid offers reliable containment while still allowing the urn to be opened again if needed.

🔹Travel & Regulations

Can I travel with an urn by air?

Yes. The simplest approach is to keep the urn empty in your carry-on and transport the cremated remains separately. This avoids screening issues and makes travel straightforward.

Are there special rules for metal urns?

Metal urns are allowed when empty. Carrying the urn and remains separately helps ensure a smooth travel experience.
